You're in!  I am so excited!

Dear Artistic Rider,

Welcome. I’m soooo glad you’re here.

By joining The Artistic Rider, you’ve chosen to step into a year that isn’t about pushing harder, fixing yourself, or chasing more answers. It’s about creating the internal conditions that allow clarity, confidence, and connection to emerge naturally - for you, and through you, for your horse.

This work unfolds slowly and intentionally. There is no rush here, no expectation to have it all figured out, and no “right” way to move through it. What matters is your willingness to listen, notice, and stay curious.

Below, you’ll find everything you need to get started, including how to access your materials and details for our first session together.

I’m looking forward to meeting you, getting to know you better, and walking alongside you through this journey over the coming year.

When you’re ready, you’ll find your first instructions below.

No need to rush or panic! This info is also all available inside the program in your library (see menu above) and you will receive it by email. But... if you're anything like me, once you have made a decision to do something, you want to do it wholeheartedly. And that usually means wanting to get everything ready.

Materials you will need:

Notebook/Journal - You will need a notebook or journal of some sort. If you prefer to type, a simple folder or document is enough. If you are like me and you like to journal with pen and paper, I recommend finding a dedicated notebook or journal. Perhaps with imagery that inspires you. Or maybe completely blank and ready. It's up to you.

A space to sit - For the meditations, you will need a space that feels comfortable and safe, where you can relax without worry of being watched or interrupted. I have two spaces, personally. One is a rug in front of a southern facing window so I can get the morning winter sun on my face. The other is a big, absolutely luscious, comfy chair. Some of the sessions can be done lying down, as well. Make your space special with items that make you feel good: candles, pillows, flowers, houseplants, or a purring cat... whatever feels good to you.

Headphones - You may wish to listen to the recordings without anyone else listening in or being distracted by noises around you. For this reason, I recommend headphones or earbuds. Mine are noise canceling and they really do shut out the outside world!

Come join the group...

You now have access to the private community space where you can:
* share reflections (as much or as little as you like)
* ask questions
* receive support
* witness others’ journeys

You are never required to participate more than feels right to you, but I look forward to what you do feel comfortable sharing.

Join us for the welcome session...

So, you don't have to go panicking at the last minute to find the link to the welcome session in zoom. This is it:

Note that this session is a meeting which means you have the option to turn on your video (which means we can see you) and you can talk with us (and I hope you do). Be mentally prepared to introduce yourself, but you don't need to deliver a speech. Just come as you are.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this a technical riding program?

No.

The Artistic Rider focuses on the inner game of riding - the internal clarity, regulation, and self-trust that make technical work possible and sustainable. While there is riding involved and many riders will experience technical improvements, that is a byproduct, not the starting point.

Do I need to be an advanced rider to benefit from this?

No.

This work applies at every level. Whether you’re feeling stuck early in your journey or have been riding for decades, the inner game remains relevant - often more so with experience.

Is this too “woo-woo” for me?

This program works with breath, body awareness, nervous system regulation, energy, and mindfulness - all in a grounded, practical way. Nothing is forced. Nothing is dogmatic.
You’re encouraged to explore with curiosity and keep what genuinely works for you.

What if I don’t have much time?

This program is designed to fit into your life, not take it over.
You don’t need to do everything to benefit. Even small, consistent engagement can create meaningful shifts. The work is cumulative, not all-or-nothing.

What if I struggle with consistency or motivation?

That’s not failure. It’s information.
 In many cases, inconsistency is a sign of inner conflict or dysregulation, not a lack of discipline. This program works with that, rather than trying to override it.

What if I’ve tried many things and nothing has really changed?

Most riders who come to this program have.
 The difference here is that we’re not adding more strategies on top. We’re stabilizing the internal system those strategies depend on.

Will I be required to share or participate in the community?

No.

You’re welcome to share as much or as little as feels right. Quiet participation is just as valid as active engagement.

What if I miss live sessions?

All live sessions are recorded and available as replays. You can move through the material at your own pace.

What if I don’t know who I want to be as a rider yet?

That’s completely fine - and very normal.

This program is designed to help you discover that, not arrive already knowing.

Is this a one-time transformation, or something I can return to?

This is a cyclical process. Many riders will find they return to the phases again and again - each time with more clarity, depth, and ease. You'll have lifetime access to all of the materials.

About Commitment & Refunds

The Artistic Rider is a 12-month experiential journey designed to unfold over time. The early weeks are about slowing down, reconnecting, and creating space - not immediate certainty or visible change. For this reason, there is no refund window during the first 30 days of the program.

However, I also believe in meeting people with integrity. If after 60 days, you’ve genuinely engaged with the process and feel that this journey is not right for you, you may request a refund by contacting us within the designated window (between 30 days and 60 days from the beginning of the program).

This policy exists to balance two important things:

𑁍 your need for safety and trust
𑁍 and the level of commitment this work requires.

The Artistic Rider is best suited for riders who feel ready to say yes to a process, even one in which clarity unfolds gradually.
