with Thomas and Shana Ritter (and the Ritter Dressage Team)

This course with Thomas and Shana Ritter will guide you through the entire process of transforming your horse's canter, from the underlying biomechanics of the gait through to timing your aids, riding better transitions, and shaping, collecting, and extending the canter, ready for flying changes.

This is a complete course for horse and rider. Alongside the horse's gymnastic exercises, you'll work through rider imagery seat exercises and Feldenkrais lessons designed to improve your own timing, balance, and coordination in the saddle. It suits any horse, from green to schoolmaster, and any rider, from novice to professional, whether you're already working in canter or avoiding it altogether.

• 10 modules covering footfalls and biomechanics, timing of the aids, transitions, and shaping the canter, with new horse training exercises to try each week
